SOFT CIRCLE
Hisham Bharoocha is New York’s Soft Circle. Being a man of many trades Hisham was one of the founding members of Providence noise bands Lightning Bolt and Black Dice as well as distorted dance group Pixeltan. Hisham is also a very active artist and photographer who shows his work in prestigious galleries all over the world. Soft Circle is his new musical output, made with loops of drum machine, guitar, bass etc with his unique pounding drumming style, it’s somewhere between ESG on acid and Ravi Shankar if he produced club tracks. PPM is proud to have Soft Circle on the roster, especially for his good looks and style points. Look for a full length soon enough right here on PPM records and tapes. |
