BEN WOLFINSOHN
His first narrative film, “High School Record,” stars Dean from NO AGE as well as members of Mika Miko, Lavender Diamond and the Minutemen. It premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and screened for sell-out crowds at South by Southwest and numerous other festivals. The Austin Chronicle called it “a sweet mockumentary of painful, funny high school days,” while Variety praised it as “a movie of uncommon feeling and authenticity.”
Ben was first known for his documentary “Friends Forever,” (2002) the story of an obscure noise-metal band known for performing inside of their van.
